Finish Line!

We thought maybe Cooper would make his grand debut on his Daddy and Nana's birthdays yesterday but he informed us that he had no such plans, so instead Chris and I went out for a fabulous dinner at Sia's to celebrate his 32nd birthday. I am such a lucky girl to have such an incredible hubby, truly. We love any good excuse to sample all of the dessert items on the menu, don't you!? That Vanilla Bean Creme Brulee in the middle was absolutely to die for!

In other news, we packed it up this morning and headed out to see Dr. Sermons for the next to last time (but hey who's counting!?). Cooper is healthy and happy and Doc made the call to induce next week (assuming nothing happens sooner).

Wooo! It feels so great to have a date scheduled, even though I am secretly still clinging to the thought that "life is what happens when you're busy making other plans".
As much as induction seems so convenient, I still think going into labor spontaneously between now and then could lend itself to some super fun times and memories! For example, I would really hate to miss seeing Chris spring into action in the middle of the night to make the trip to Northside in Nascar-like fashion. We might just make our way down to Northside burning rubber on two wheels on our planned induction day anyway.

I have decided to spend the next 8 days shopping, sleeping, lounging, and pretty much pretending I am away at the beach.
